Richmond Diamonds Clinches Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Space Coast Titans

Richmond Diamonds 12U snatched the lead late in the game in a 5-1 victory over Space Coast Titans 12U 09 on Wednesday. The game was tied at one with Richmond Diamonds 12U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Aubrey E singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Richmond Diamonds 12U pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Lottie Mae H singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Makayla F pitched Richmond Diamonds 12U to victory. The righty went three and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out three. Kelly W threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Rellinger took the loss for Space Coast Titans 12U 09. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out five and walking zero.

Richmond Diamonds 12U collected eight hits on the day. Lottie Mae and Kendall G all collected multiple hits for Richmond Diamonds 12U. Kendall and Lottie Mae all had two hits to lead Richmond Diamonds 12U. Richmond Diamonds 12U didn't commit a single error in the field. Addison W had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
