Tri-County Heat Captures Lead Early To Defeat Richmond Diamonds

Richmond Diamonds 12U fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 6-3 loss to Tri-County Heat 12U on Saturday. Tri-County Heat 12U scored on a single by Karlie, a single by Lacey, a single by Rylie A, and a single by Sissy in the first inning.

Kendall S led things off in the pitcher's circle for Richmond Diamonds 12U. The pitcher lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while striking out three. KK T threw one and one-third innings in relief.

Abby W went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Richmond Diamonds 12U in hits.

Tri-County Heat 12U tallied seven hits. Shyane and Lacey each collected multiple hits for Tri-County Heat 12U.
