Richmond Diamonds 12U took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 4-3 walk-off victory over Shenandoah Valley Swarm. The game was tied at three with Richmond Diamonds 12U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Abby W singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Shenandoah Valley Swarm got things started in the first inning when Zimmerman singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

In the bottom of the third inning, Richmond Diamonds 12U tied things up at three. Kendall S hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.

After Shenandoah Valley Swarm scored one run in the top of the second, Richmond Diamonds 12U answered with one of their own. Shenandoah Valley Swarm scored when Fishel singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. Richmond Diamonds 12U then answered when Charleigh D drew a walk, scoring one run.

Gerald took the loss for Shenandoah Valley Swarm. The hurler went three and a third innings, allowing four runs on ten hits, striking out four and walking one.
